Advertising technology company Collective has appointed Nathan Tait-Hill as product director and David Morrow as communications manager.
Tait-Hill joins from online advertising software provider Kenshoo where he held the role of client services director. He will work to ensure Collective continues to offer industry-leading advertising technology to clients.
David Morrow joins from Virgin Media-owned ids, the advertising sales house, where he held the same role.

Collective continues ambitious UK growth plans with two senior appointments

Nathan Tait-Hill, newly-appointed Product Director, joins from online advertising software provider Kenshoo. He previously held the post of Client Services Director and was responsible for clients including Tesco, John Lewis and large agency networks such as the Omnicom Group and Havas. Tait-Hill will work to ensure Collective continues to offer industry-leading advertising technology to clients.

New Media Age: More education is needed to boost uptake of private ad exchanges

The industry has called for more education about private ad exchanges to increase uptake, following news that Collective has launched the first real-time private ad exchange for premium video programming in the UK.
Ad exchanges promise to deliver a more effective and efficient way of buying and selling advertising online. Real-time bidding (RTB) on exchanges enables the buying and seling of single ad impressions in real time.

A new marketplace that allows real-time bidding (RTB) on premium video ad inventories from publishers including IPC and iVillage has been launched by Collective.
The marketplace combines Adap.tv's RTB technology with Collective's audience data.
