    Collective and Microsoft-backed AppNexus have teamed up to create an ad exchange module and media management platform for publishers. AMP Exchange now gives publishers the ability to create private exchanges using real-time bidding without separately managing reserved inventory.

    Collective is looking to entice big brands into the ad-exchange space with the debut of a new private exchange capability.

    Collective linked up with AppNexus, the ad-tech platform powering the Microsoft ad exchange, has announced the launch of the AMP Exchange, which is aimed at premium publishers. According to Collective CEO Joe Apprendi, the AMP Exchange will meld AppNexus’ real-time-bidding platform with AMP, Collective’s own data management and analytics suite of services.

    Yesterday, Collective announced AMP Exchange which it positions as a sell-side platform and says "allows publishers to create private exchanges using Real-Time Bidding (RTB) without separately managing reserved and pre-emptible inventory."
